KK Office Solutions began in 1995 as Kartridge King in the basement of President Matthew Brandt's home. The only focus of the business at that time was the remanufacturing and sales of used printer cartridges and new office supplies.

In 1999 then Kartridge King was recognized in the Wichita Business Journal as a successful small business and leader in the industry.

The name of the company was changed in 2000 to KK Office Solutions and they became an HP dealer with plans to expand services to include sales of new and used copiers, fax machines and laser printers.

In 2005 KK Office Solutions acquired Intelligent Computer Solutions and futher expanded their services to include computer networking.
